Have you ever heard of a book named Alice in Wonderland?

Alice in Wonderland is a really good book. They have made this book in to a kid’s movie. It’s a pretty long book but some people think it’s worth reading.

In the begging of the story Alice is sitting down under a tree with her sister reading a book with her. Then Alice sees a rabbit run across her. But then she noticed that it wasn’t an ordinary rabbit. The rabbit had a suit on with gloves and a watch saying” Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be late for a very important date!” So after that she ran after him. The white rabbit jumped into a hole so then Alice goes in after it. She jumps in to it and is waiting to fall on the ground. She’s been falling for quite a while now and it feels like its been hours since she jumped in.

Finally after she lands she looked on one side of her and all she saw was black. Then she looked at the other side and she can see the rabbit still running. So she goes after it. Then she walks into a hall and doors every where. She goes up to a door and try’s to open it but it’s locked. She sees a little golden key so her first thought was that it was to one of the doors in the hall. But the locks were too big or too small.

So then she sees a little door at the bottom of a normal sized door. He sees a bottle with a sign that says “drink me”. So she drinks it.

That’s what happens in the beginning of the story. To read the rest of the story read the whole book. I liked this story a lot. I recommend this book. This is a good book for anyone who likes reading. Or maybe you will still like it if you don’t like reading. I highly recommend this book.
Raul Perez

Introduction:

Wouldn’t it be cool if we were able to bring back the dinosaurs and put them in a park so that everyone could visit them? Well that what Jurassic Park is about. A guy named John Hammond invents a way to clone dinosaurs and he puts them in a park so everyone can visit them like a zoo. Everything is going well in the park in till someone turns the power to the park off and the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs start to hunt down and eat everyone in the park.

Body:

The reason why the dinosaurs escape is because of a computer technician named Denis Nerdy who turns off the power to the park in order to steal dinosaur DNA and sell it in order to get rich. Hammond (the owner of Jurassic Park) was warned by Malcolm that the park was unsafe but his greed causes him to refuse to close the park. Malcolm ends up being right when the power goes out and the dinosaurs escape. The dinosaurs eat Nerdy when he tries to escape, Hammond, Regis, and Malcolm. At the same time Hammond’s grandchildren are stuck in a car and a T-rex attack them. They run away from the T-rex by going into the park. They make there way to the cafeteria and Arnold restores the power to the park.

Major and Minor Character

Tim Murphy-major character, knows everything about dinosaurs, knows a little bit about computers. Lex Murphy-minor character, Tim’s younger sister and she like to make fun of him. John Hammond-major character, Tim and Lex’s grandfather, the owner of Jurassic park and is greedy. Denis Nerdy-major character, Jurassic Park’s computer technician and he are responsible for turning off the power to the park. Ed Regis-minor character and he hates that he has to baby-sit Hammond’s grandchildren. John Arnold-minor character and he thinks Malcolm’s theory about the dangers of the park is dumb. Dr.Ian Malcolm-minor character and thinks the park is a bad idea.

Setting

Jurassic Park took place in Isla Nublar and Costa Rica in 1990. The theme of Jurassic Park is the dangers of technology. Technology can be very useful to us and very dangerous to use if you don’t know how to handle it.

I enjoyed read this book. This book was interesting and thrilling. I highly recommend it to all my friends. I like the park were the dinosaur attacks the kids in the car” The tyrannosaur banged again on the front hood of the Land Cruiser. Tim grabbed the seat as the car rocked on its wheels.” Because its one of the most thrilling parts in the story. This is a great book and if you read it you’ll see why I like this book a lot.

The Wonders of Harry Potter

SpectoPatronus! This is one of the spells that Harry Potter used during his third year at Hogwarts. “Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban” by J.K. Rowling, this book is 435 pages long. You be the judge. The genre of this book is fantasy. J.K Rowling published the book in 1999. Family is a big part in this book. So every family is not going to let one another die they’ll save each other. Whose better Harry Potter or Draco Malfoy? You be the judge.

At first, Harry is at the Drusleys home; they have never liked Harry since he was left at their footsteps. When visitors go to the Drusleys house they would lock Harry up in his room or in the cupboard like a dog being locked up in a cage. Then, one day “Aunt” Marge went to visit the Drusleys. Harry was supposed to call Marge by “Aunt Marge”. After that Harry ran away because he inflated “Aunt Marge ” up like a balloon, Harry ran away because he used magic out of the grounds of Hogwarts. Suddenly, the KNIGHT BUS came to pick Harry up from all the problems he had at the Drusley home, while it parked Harry was staring at a strange figure in the shadows. It was a shaggy dog with yellow beady eyes. Harry then faked his name as “Neville Longbottom” the driver then showed Harry the “Daily Prophet” (the Hogwarts newspaper). It said that Serious Black had escaped the Azkaban prison (“he was accused of killing 13 people with a single curse” as the rumor goes). Finally, Harry got off the KNIGHT BUS and took the “Hogwarts Express” to of course Hogwarts.

MAJOR AND MINOR CHARACTERS

Harry, Ron, and Hermione are all major characters and Draco Malloy is a minor character. Harry is a major character because in “The Chamber of Secrets” dementors wouldn’t chase him. Now Harry is more courageous. Harry does lots of courageous things in “The Prisoner of Azkaban”. For example he made friends with Buckbeack (a combination of animals).

Ron is a major character because before he would just care about himself. Now, he cares about Hermione, and Harry. He would care about Scabbers but he found out something about him he’d never known about him. Ron backed his sister Ginny when Draco offended her in a cruel way. That show Ron changed in this book.

Hermione is a major character as well. Shes a major character because she used to tell Harry, and Ron everything. But then she didn’t tell them her little secret. With that she would get ahead in her studies for all her subjects. Not only that but with it she and Harry saved Buckbeack from dieing. And found out what everything that happened was.

Unfortunately, Drano Malfoy is a minor character because in all of the Harry Potter books he’s evil. Drano always tries to spoil everything Harry does. For example, after Harry got off Buckbeack, Draco went on him and offended and it started to attack him then as always he blames it on someone else. And how eh spoiled the Quidditch match of Gryffindor vs. Slytherins he said “his arm hurted”.

Setting

It is Harry’s third year at Hogwarts. He goes to Hogwarts after summer. It is someday in January that this book takes place in. On winter break he does anything to stay away from the Drusley’s house.

Theme

The theme of this book is “Good vs. Evil” because Scabbers is the one that framed Sirius Black. Another example is like Harry vs. Draco. Harry does a great job and Draco wrecks it. And when Ron cut Dracos roots sloppy, and Ron gave his perfectly cut roots. That’s how this theme relates to this book.

Review And Recommend

This is the best book that I have ever in my life. I especially like the parts where Harry is in trouble then figures out a solution to that problem. Sometimes its like if I’m in a whole other world. I even wish my life was like Harry’s all adventurous and fun. I even ask myself what it would be like owning a wand.

I would recommend this book to anyone that likes to read because it is interestingly fun. You’ll even picture yourself in some of the events Harry is in. You’ll probably even read the other Harry Potter book, that’s how interesting it is. I also recommend it because after you’ve read it feels like you’re doing that too. That’s why I recommend this book.

Wally Hatford tells a story to his friend Caroline Malloy. The story is about a monster called Abaguchie and that it's been spotted in their area. Wally says there are skeleton bones in the cellar of a book store. Wally tells her not to tell anyone, to keep it a secret.

Well in the book Wally tells her the story in class. She gets very interested in it and tells her sisters who don't believe her. They say the boys are trying to scare you. Later that day the Hatford brothers go to the Malloy's house and try to scare them by making howling noises. Then Wally tells her there is skeleton bones in the cellar of the book store. Caroline goes underneath and finds nothing. So when she tries to get out Wally and his brothers stand on top on the door. So she is stuck and when it's closing time and everyone left she gets out. But the alarm sets off and the police are coming. She leaves just in time and the cuts of a piece of her fur jacket. The next day they find fur and think it’s the abaguchie. The Malloy sisters go to the Hatford brothers house in the night and make fake foot prints to scare them but Caroline sees yellow eyes in the bush. She screams so loud that Wally and his brothers come out and catch them.

The main characters are Caroline, Eddie ,Beth ,Wally, Jake, Josh. Caroline will believe anything you tell her. She also likes acting and making movies. Beth likes to read books a lot,her nose is always in a book. Beth is more sympathetic. Eddie is more of the tom-boyish she really likes sports. Wally, Jake, Josh are all pranksters. They both hate Caroline and her sisters.

The story takes place in Buckman, West Virginia. I think it's around in the year 2000's. I think it is a very medium size city.

I really liked the book because it was funny. I also liked it because it funny how the boys really hate the girls but they still like to mess with them. I would recommend it to kids between the ages of 8-12 because the kids are young.
