Cesar Chavez was born in Arizona on March 31, 1927. Cesar’s

parents owned a farm in Arizona. His father’s name was Librado and his

mother’s name was Juana. Cesar Chavez dad said that, “people should stand

up for themselves and for others”. Cesar went to school and grew up in a

happy home and didn’t believe in violence.

When Cesar Chavez was ten years old he was taller and, his family

lost their farm and store in 1937. This happened because this was during the

Great Depression it was a period of time were the people were poor. The family moved to California in 1938 and traveled from farm to farm picking up crops all over California because they had a little bit of money. In 1939, the Chavez family settled in Salsi Puedes, California. The Chavez’s family were immigrant workers that had to settle to those kinds of jobs in order to get by.

Cesar Chavez had to quit school on his 8th grade term to help his family in work force. Then Cesar began to date Helen Fabela when he was fifteen years old. In 1944 Cesar Chavez joined the U.S. Navy. When he came back in 1946 he married Helen Fabela and they had eight children. In 1952 Cesar Chavez joins the Community Service Organization in San Jose California because immigrant farm workers worked many hours and didn’t pay much money. In 1962 Cesar Chavez found the National Farm Workers Association.

One day a group of farm workers asked farm owners for more money

the farm owners refuse to listen to the workers and that’s were the farm workers decide to take a stand. Since Cesar didn’t believe in violence, he advised the workers to take a peaceful stand and do not use violence to let their voice be heard. He told them to go on a peaceful strike to let the employers know that they had had enough. Due to the strikes the farm owners decided to pay farm workers more money and gave workers better work conditions and housing.

In April 23, 1993 Cesar Chavez passed away in his sleep. Cesar Chavez was an important person in the Mexican community. He helped them fight for better pay and working conditions for them and their future families. He understood the suffering that the farmers went threw because he was also a farmer for most of his life. In 2000 California establishes a state holiday on Chavez's birthday to honor him. With the Hispanics Cesar Chavez was a hero that changed all their lives for the better. He will always be remembered as a helper to the farm workers and as a man that believe violence does not fixes problems.
It was January 5, 2000 I ate in the house at night it was my dad and I. It opted to continue operating Horace Mann, the black high school, while admitting only a few blacks to all-white Central High. The board selected 17 black students who had volunteered to attend Central, based mostly on their grades. As the end of August drew near, the number dwindled down to nine.

These nine students faced adversity well before the opening of the school year. Whites went to court in an attempt to acquire an injunction which would delay the start of integration. On August 27, 1957, Mrs. Clyde A. Thomason filed suit in Chancery Court. Mrs. Thomason, a member of the anti-integration Mothers League of Little Rock Central High School (a group that included few actual parents of Central High students), testified that "she had been told that the mothers were terrified to send their children to Central because of a rumor that the white and Negro youths were forming gangs and some of them were armed with guns and knives." [3] Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus backed up Mrs. Thomason's claims, although neither cited their source. Judge Murray O. Reed granted the injunction, but Federal Judge Ronald N. Davies later overruled it, ordering the school board to continue with integration.

The students faced opposition from not only the white community but the black community as well. Melba Pattillo, a 15-year-old who was one of the nine, remembered a confrontation with a black adult at church one Sunday:

"I was startled when a woman I'd seen often enough but didn't really know began lecturing me. For a moment I feared she was going to haul off and hit me. She was beside herself with anger. I could barely get my good morning in because she was talking very loud, attracting attention as she told me I was too fancy for my britches and that other people in our community would pay for my uppity need to be with white folks.
Should School Uniforms be required at San Fernando Middle school?.We think so.Uniforms should be worn by all students in school. If everyone had to wear uniforms, they will be fewer problems, with money, discipline, and school pride.

First of all cloths are very expensive we are always asking our parents to buy us shoes and cloths with designer labels, if the students wore uniforms our parents could save a lot of money .They will only need to buy uniforms and a pair of shoes.

In addition, wearing uniforms could only show up our school discipline. Many kids or students worry that other kids would make fun of the way they dress. So they spend a lot of time of diciding what cloths to put on and they are late to school. This things won"t be happen if averyone wear the same thing.

Finally, uniforms are they way to show pride in our school.Insted of thinking about being fashionable, students will think about being part of our community.Clothing shouldn't matter as much as getting an education.

My interdiction paragraph is going to be about why are uniforms important in middle school. And some of my ideas are that uniforms are important because they can reduce stress. Also because when a kid comes to our school and he is note wiring our school. Uniform the teacher’s can notice him fast because doesn’t. Doesn’t belong in hour school.

Uniforms are important because thy can reduce extras. Because when a kid doesn’t know. What to where he doesn’t need to worry. Because he need’s to be on his or she’s school uniform.

Also uniforms are so but so important that some time it cane save. You’re live because when a kid from another school wants to come to hurl and do something to. Some one thy cane gets the kid and kick. Him out.

When a kid doesn’t like the color of his uniform. He cane were another color because thy are a lot of cool coolers. Because the school and the teachers like to see there student with. her uniform. Hold the time.

Dose are a lot of important thing’s why are uniform’s important. That’s why you hold goes node to be wearing their school uniforms.
Cell phones should be allowed at scool

Students should be able to use cell phones at schoolIn case of a emergancy. We should be able to use it also if it is a important call. Also to text one of your friends if something is going on and you do not want them to find out.

I think we should be able to use a cell phone for math class. So that we could use the calculater on the cell phone for math but not to cheet. Also to save notes in your cell phone so that the next day when the teacher tells you something you could just go to your notes and read what you saved. Also so that you could save dates like when we are going to have a big test and it will remined you that you have a big test and you will remember to study for it.

There should be a limit on when you could be able to use the cell phone in class or other timers like say at the middle of class. Or when everybody is done with there work and have nothing to do. Or maybe at nutrition and lunch only.

So that if the sucerty will see you they will not take it away from us students. I also think we should use cellphones to go on the internet. And look up something we do not know. We should at least be able to use it to text message your friends when we are odne with are work or done taking a test. And not pass notes that would distract everyone else taking a test or doing there work.

Also if you are bored in class and finish with all your class work and waiting for everyone else taking a test or doing there work. That is why cell phones should be allowed at in class and at school, for many more resons that people use cell phones. But not to be listing to music on them because it will distract the rest of the class so you should keep it on vibrate so that you could know when someone is texting you.
Students Shouldn`t Wear Uniform!
